"I don’t know. But I know where he will be. Where he will always be. If the Doctor is still the Doctor, he will have my back."
Lightning struck a tree just behind the rafters at a high school football game in Florida. Then, as Deadspin writes, "The football team scurries for cover. The band plays on."
"The football team scurries for cover. The band plays on."
"THE BAND PLAYS ON."

AND THE BAND PLAYS ON
Given the many team sports have a distant relation to military training, but let’s all remember that bands actually do formation marching with no breaks between plays…
Post apocalypse survival strategy: arm the band, roll with the band, stay alive.
Anonymous asked: Do you consider yourself a misandrist?
I think people who call themselves misandrists make a joke out of misogyny by implying that because it’s socially acceptable for men to oppress women, they should be allowed to be equally as awful to an entire gender. Fighting oppression with oppression isn’t how you get shit done. It’s childish, helps no one, and just makes people associate feminism with a hatred for men.
It’s okay to be angry, but when you need to identify with a form of oppression that doesn’t even exist just to express that anger, it helps no one. Men are not the enemy. Are some men oppressive? Absolutely. But the problem is not simply “men.” Women are also oppressive, and the system is oppressive. Turning it back on men alone will get us no where.
This is the most succinctly I think I’ve seen this put.
